We are proud to share that Fiji Airways has been awarded the Diamond certification, the highest standard for travel safeguards in a COVID-19 world by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and SimpliFlying. The ‘Diamond’ rating is the highest attainable rating in the audit conducted by APEX Health Safety powered by SimpliFlying and offered only to airlines that provide hospital-grade health safety measures.
In addition to the above, in March/April 2021 Fiji Airways was Certified with the highest level 5-Star COVID-19 Airline Safety Rating by SKYTRAX, becoming one of just six airlines worldwide to currently achieve this top recognition. The SKYTRAX COVID-19 Airline Safety Accreditation is regarded as a global benchmark for evaluating COVID-19 safe travel. This means our Travel Ready program has been independently validated and assessed to be among the best in the world for air travel.

EnvironmentFiji consist of 330 islands surrounded by the vast pacific ocean. We understand the relationship between man and nature very well and realize the important part that we play in preserving what we have. At Fiji Airways we embarked on a mission to plant one tree for every one of our aircraft that takes off. These mangrove trees not only help us to offset our carbon footprint, they also play a very important role in maintaining the natural balance in our environment. During the past 3 years Fiji Airways has planted more than 50,000 trees in Fiji. We have also embarked on a mission to remove plastic onboard resulting in the reduction of 2 tons of plastic from our aircraft annually. The modern fuel efficient fleet along with a close monitoring system of our fuel usage is the single largest source of reducing our carbon footprint and will continue keep our part of the world protected for years to come.
