Reasons to Book Cheap El Paso Flights

El Paso is a city in the state of Texas, US. It is the largest American city on the Mexican frontier and is located in the far western corner of Texas. Its unique topography makes it a melting point of American and Mexican cultures and its effect is visible in the local culture, arts, architecture, festivals, musical preferences and culinary arts. Summarily, the city is an enormous American barbecue laced with tangy Mexican Salsa sauce. Visitors can start exploring the city either from the El Paso Museum of Art for its excellent pre-Columbian and Indian arts or from the 19th century military post called Fort Bliss that has evolved into one of the world’s largest air defense centers.

El Paso Museum of Art

The El Paso Museum of Art is the only accredited art museum within a 250-mile radius of the city. It has an impressive collection of Pre-Columbian, Mexican, American, and European art from the 12th to the 18th centuries. The American art collection features Modernist and Impressionist paintings plus a collection of old prints drawings, watercolors, engravings, posters, and photographs.

Fort Bliss

Fort Bliss was a US Army post in 1848 that later became a stronghold of Confederate Forces during the Civil War. It is one of the largest defense training centers in the world today and provides combat training to NATO and allied countries. It is home to the Fort Bliss Museum and the Old Ironsides Museums where a number of defense exhibits and missiles dating from 1861 are kept.
