Qutb Shahi Tombs

Located around a kilometer away from Banjara Darwaza of the Golconda Fort, Qutb Shahi Tombs are the tombs of the legendary Qutb Shahi kings and were planned and constructed by the Qutb Shahis themselves. These tombs are believed to be the oldest monuments in the city. Qutb Shahi Tombs form a large group and are positioned on a raised platform. The architecture of these tombs displays the use of Pathan, Hindu, and Persian structural design.
