Lujiazui

Yuyuan Garden

The famous classical garden, Yuyuan Garden, is situated in Anren Jie, Shanghai. It was constructed by Pan Yunduan (a government officer) and was completed around 1577. Since its existence, the garden has been renovated numerous times. Spread over 20,000 square meters of land, the garden has nearly 6 scenic areas - Sansui Hall, Wanhua Chamber, Dianchun Hall, Huijing Hall, Yuhua Hall, and the Inner Garden. Several other interesting features of the garden include - stadium, corridors, halls, ponds, and more.

City God Temple

The City God Temple was originally devoted to the spirit of Jinshan or "Gold Mountain.” Later during Yongle period, the structure was turned into City God Temple by Ming Family. The temple has numerous halls like Grand Hall, Middle Hall, Bedroom Palace, Star Gods Hall, Yama Palace, and more. The popularity of the temple has led to the development of numerous gift shops and food joints around it converting streets into busy markets.
