D3: Diwali, Dinner, and Dance — Calgary
Hosted by the Punjabi Community Health Services of Calgary, the D3: Diwali, Dinner, and Dance event is called a “fun”draiser because ticket sales are used to support the social and mental health services provided by PCHS. As the name suggests, D3 is centered around a dance floor and a live DJ, so it’s a more modern take on a festival of lights. Rather than quiet, candlelit ceremonies, it displays bright laser shows over dancing crowds. You can participate in other activities as well, including raffles, buffets, and silent auctions.
