While you will not find any big-eared mice or princesses who have lost their glass slippers at this park, Suoi Tien boasts its own central characters — the Unicorn, Tortoise, Dragon, and Phoenix — which are used thematically throughout the grounds.
With a central focus on Buddhism, the park also provides a sanctuary for reflection as well as learning opportunities for those who may not be familiar with the religion. The iconic golden dragon is the first thing that most visitors see when they enter the park, setting the stage for what lies ahead.
Among the rides and the waterslides, you will also find serious monuments and original Buddhist works of art that pay homage to ancient Vietnamese history and customs. The park is flush with an abundance of temples and statues that define the main tenets of Buddhism and present them in a fun way.
Attractions
As with any theme park, the highlight of your visit will likely be exploring the various rides and attractions. A majority of the rides are designed for the younger set, making this a good day trip when traveling to Vietnam with children. Popular attractions include roller coasters, water slides, mini ziplines, and haunted houses.
You will also enjoy a wide array of character sightings and entertainment options when visiting Suoi Tien. Lastly, the park is also known for its small zoo that features a number of animals, including monkeys and bears. And do not miss the large pond filled with over 1,500 crocodiles. Guests are encouraged to feed the crocs raw meat that is attached to fishing poles.
All of this combined makes Suoi Tien a balance of cultural representation and frivolous fun. Go in with an open mind and you will be sure to find something that speaks to you at this unique take on a theme park. You might even come away feeling more informed or inspired.
